13.1 Stripes, Earn Them.
This is going to be my second half marathon, I ran one last October :)
I’ve heard about the same about KT tape, so i’ve got a tab pulled up right now perusing the internet for some!
Thanks, i’ve tried that before, except what I have isn’t really shin splints.. My brother-in-law that’s in med-school has taken a look at it, and it’s a muscle hernia as best he can tell.. So doing that kind of warmup makes it worse. Normally with shin splints the problem is the calf pulls on your shins but in this case, my shin muscles are bigger than my calves almost and are bursting through the muscle sheath.. 
Haha, i did break out the rolling pin over the weekend to message it a bit, but it didn’t seem to be doing much. foam rolling, the s&m of running…

  1. iyfit said: Shouldn’t a doctor put on a KT tape? It has to be put on a very specific place for it to work. I had this done once and it helped me tons! They also put some electricity to relax the muscles. Hope you feel better! xo
